HG4 Early German Leather Fire Helmet:  This leather fire helmet is complete and is good condition. The only major problem is the stitching holding the front visor has come undone and the visor is loose.  This can be repaired. All the brass fittings have been painted black and the paint is peeling. The front plate is for Falbach Volunteer Fire Force. The liner is still supple but some of the tongues are torn. The chinstrap is complete but a bit dry. It has separated from one side of the helmet. This piece would look great with all the paint removed from the brass and polished.

HG34 Fire Police EM Visor Cap: This is a nice solid example, the body has some light scattered tracking and a few small nips in the piping. The insignia is the second pattern type. The chin strap
is very nice with no tears. The leather sweatband
is very nice showing light wear. The size 57 1/2
blue cloth lining has a small hole in it and some
light staining. The maker is Franz Ruhland of
Passau. Only traces of the moisture shield remain.

HG42 Reich Level Political Leaders Visor Cap: This would have been an excellent cap except for the fact that the moths had a field day with the yellow piping on this piece. The entire piping around the
crown had been chewed. Also the top and
bottom piping around the brown velvet
band has scattered mothing. The rest of
rest of the body of the cap looks very good
with no mothing or damage.  There is no
spring form in the cap but it holds form
very well. The metal insignia is excellent
and has a super gilt finish. The chin cord
is bullion and not celleon. The brown velvet
band is very good with no major wear.
The lining is very nice complete with a very
nice moisture shield. There is a size 56
stamp under the shield. The sweatband
shows light wear mostly from wear it has
been turned inside out to see the RZM tag.
The tag is very good and is marked 2/579.
Even with the mothing the cap display well
and is priced right for a high ranking PL cap.

HG48 Reichs Level / Ordensburg Visor Cap: This is  a very nice example. There are 5 tiny moth nips to the top and a few scattered tiny ones to the rest of the body and the piping. These do not detract
from the piece. The band is very nice as is
the insignia. The chin cord is excellent.
The visor is very nice but has some very tiny
paint spots on it. These are also on the lining
but are difficult to see. The leather sweatband
has some wear and tears. It is in good
condition only. The RZM label is intact.
The moisture shield is intact also. The cap
is about a size 60. A very good example
overall.

HG62 Postal Officials Visor Cap:  A nice example showing some light wear. The blue wool body is very nice with just a bit of faint tracking on the top of the cap.
The piping is very good as is the black velvet band. The insignia is nicely matched and the chinstrap is solid. The visor has a few stitches out of it on the left side. The leather sweatband shows some light soiling and on small tear. It is embossed Deutsches Leder. The lining is orange chintz  and shows wear. The numbers 1250 are stamped into it in black ink. A nice cap that needs a little TLC.

HG76 Reichsbahn Mid Level Grade Visor Cap: A nice example with a few tiny moth holes to the top front area and a few to the lower band of red piping. These do not detract from the overall appearance of the piece. The eagle is firmly attached but one of the prongs is broken off in the cap. The interior is clean
but most of the moisture shield is gone. The leather
sweatband is in excellent condition. About a size 55/56.
