Geoffrey Hallett Captain of the Brinmaric.
Geoffrey Hallett was born on March 27 1906 in Cardiff and died in Norwich on December 28th 1990. He was educated at Mill Hill school. His hopes of joining the family shipping firm on leaving school were dashed when the business failed. He started up the Cardiff branch of N.F.U Mutual Insurance and was manager there for at least 21 years till 1956 when he was promoted to manage the Norwich office.
